Laurel Falls
|
|
Laurel Falls is the easiest waterfall hike on the Tennessee
side of the park. It is 2.5 miles roundtrip, and follows a
paved trail. The trail cuts through the middle of a series
of cascades. Laurel Falls is 60 feet high. The pictures show
the top half of the falls with the bottom of the falls below
the walkway. The first foliage picture is at the parking
area just east of the Sugarlands Visitor Center. The second
foliage picture is from the paved walkway to the falls. The
water flowing in these pictures is at the lowest levels of
the season taken in early November. |
